Instructions for Slipcovers:

1. Locate the main label at the bottom center of the back cover. Place it at the back center of the furniture. 2. Stretch the coverc over the back of the furniture entirely. Use the vertical seams on the back as your guidelines to place the cover at each corner. Then stretch the cover over the armrests. 3. Locate the inside label marked “Left” or “Right” and place this seam on the top outside edge of the matching armrests.
Be sure to follow your armrest’s profile
4. Cover the rest of the furniture by aligning the cover’s elastic bottom with the bottom edge of the furniture. 5. Locate the label marked “L Shape” where the L seam is. Wrap the L seam around the lower back corner of the cushion. 6. Then simply tuck and smooth any excess fabric into the crevices of your furniture following its shape. 7.. Stretch the cover You’re done!

Excess Fabric? Not a problem.

Sofas, loveseats and chairs come in all shapes and sizes. And your Stretch & Cover slipcover is designed to fit most. So if it looks like your cover is too big, it really means that the piece of furniture you’re covering is on the smaller end of the spectrum. Here’s what you do:

1. Locate the laces on each corner of the cover.

2. Pull and tie the laces together to enhance the cover’s fit. 3. Align the fabric to the bottom edge of the furniture, tucking the excess fabric into the back and side crevices. 4. Tuck and fold the fabric to form a pleat along the outer edge of the cushion to the bottom of the sofa and use a Clip Lock at the bottom outside edge of the pleat where the elastic is running at the edge of the cover. 5. Extend the elastic of the Clip Lock all the way to the back of the furniture and clip it at the back bottom edge where the elastic is running at the edge of the cover. Use the adjuster of the Clip Lock f you need more or less tension. 6. Re-align the pleat once you have the right amount of tension. If you have a T-Cushion Sofa, clip from the inside of the cover and lock one end of the Clip Lock with the fabric at the intersection of the armrest and the cushion.
Then run the elastic of the Clip Lock under, or long the side of the ushion, and clip the otherend (inside) to the cover.

CLIP LOCKS

Use the Elastic Clip Locks freely where extra tightness is needed. They are simple to use, easy to adjust, and will help you to perfectly dress your furniture. Position them underneath the furniture so they won’t be seen.

1. Lift lock from back small tip to open.
2. Make sure fabric is completely inside the clip.
3. Press down firmly to close.
4. Adjust the length as needed.

FOAM TUBES

Our Foam Tubes are made of a soft but durable material. Insert them deep into the crevices of your furniture to help keep your slipcover tucked
in tightly.

FOAM TUBES POSITIONING

Place the foam tubes along the armrests and backrest then tuck deeply into the crevices.
When placed under body weight pressure, the L Seam expands, causing the tube to “grab” the fabric and keep it in place. Because of its special blend, the fabric is able to “remember” where it was and return to its original place once that pressure is removed.

Tuck! Tuck! Tuck!

• Remember, it is normal to have excess fabric.
• As long as there is a place to tuck it, you should be able to style your slipcover successfully with little effort.
• Tuck back where the armrests meet the backrest by pulling the fabric toward the backrest and tucking it deep into the crevices.
• The deeper you tuck your fabric and Foam Tubes, the better the cover stays.
• Get help from a friend or relative, especially when positioning the Clip Locks under the furniture.
