Will you hold the order and ship it at a later date?

Generally orders are processed and shipped within 48 hours of when they are placed. Of course, exceptions can always be made. Please call our Customer Service team if it is necessary to hold an order for a specific time frame.

Please keep in mind that orders are subject to sales. Since we work with a live inventory that is constantly changing, items can sell out and go to backorder while the order is being held.

Can I order by telephone?

Call 1-888-PULL-IT-ON. (1-888-785-5486). Although our website is designed to be comprehensive and address your basic questions and concerns, our commitment is supported by a trained, live (yes, live) customer service team.

You can order by telephone Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:30 am to 5:30 pm Eastern Time. Our customer service team works exclusively with Stretch and Cover and is able to provide answers to your questions as well as assistance in decorating and making selections. They can even help you in tracking your order and in dealing with other issues that may arise.

What forms of payment are accepted for online purchases?

Yes, if you provide your email address when you place an order, we will send you an email confirmation usually within 24 hours.

How can I make a change or cancel my order?

To edit or cancel an order you need to send an email to info@stretchandcover.com or call 1-888-785-5486 and inform our customer service team.

Remember to call right away because orders are processed and shipped within 48 business hours, so if the package has already shipped, edits and cancellations cannot be confirmed.

What is Stretch and Cover's return policy?

All products must be returned within the next 30 days of the shipping date of your order, in good saleable condition, in their original packaging, with all their accessories and the return form attached to ensure credit. For more details please refer to the return policy section of our website.

How do I return merchandise?

To return an item you must obtain a return authorization number (RA#) and we will provide you with one and the address where the package has to be sent. Request for RA # should be done at info@stretchandcover.com.

Please mark the appropriate reason for your return as well as your intention, Exchange or Refund in the invoice/packing list we sent to you. Enclose one copy of the packing list or invoice with the item. Be sure to keep one copy of the packing list or invoice for your personal records.

Can I save items in my shopping cart for purchase at a later date?

Create an account with us. All you need to do is create a user name and password, no purchase is necessary. Put the items on your wish list. When you're ready to purchase just log in and your information should be there. Of course you can place an order online without registering with us.

SLIPCOVER FAQS

How do I measure my furniture to figure out what size best fits my furniture?

Overall, you will need a few basic measurements - front width, back height, and back width. However, special styles such as wingchairs, ottomans, and dining chairs require more information.

Please consult our sizing guide for more detailed information. In it, you should find all you need to determine what size slipcover best fits your particular piece(s) of furniture. If you do need additional help or have further questions, our customer service center (888-PULL-IT-ON) can readily assist you and address any concerns you may have.

How do I care for my slipcover?

All of our slipcovers are treated with stain resistant treatments and with the exception of our faux leather can be machine washed to remove everyday stains and dirt. Care instructions come with your purchase. Wash in cold water, gentle cycle. We recommend a mild detergent like an Ivory Snow or Dreft. If it's gentle enough for your baby, it's gentle enough for your slipcover. We recommend that you do NOT use bleach.

Depending on the fabric either line dry or tumble dry on a low setting. Once your slipcovers are dry, you can easily put the slipcover back on to your furniture. This should take approximately five to ten minutes.

If your slipcover does get creased in storage, check the label to see if it can be ironed, or if it can be tumble dried put it in on a low heat with a damp cloth for about 10 minutes - that should do the trick. If you only notice the wrinkles once you've put the slipcover on, it's easy to smooth them out by spraying them lightly with a plant mister and flattening them by hand.

Is it possible to use a slipcover on my leather sofa?

If you want to give your leather furniture a new image by fitting a fabric slipcover, it's a good idea to fix some inexpensive foam batting underneath the slipcover to stop if from slipping on the leather surface. Foam batting is available from most craft stores.

We also carry a faux leather slipcover which should work well if you prefer to have a leather look in your space.

I've inherited an old-fashioned piece from my grandmother. The seats are perfectly functional, but they have wooden arms, which I think makes them look dated. Would I be able to use a slipcover to hide the arms?

Yes. Using slipcovers would be a great way to give your sofa and chairs a makeover and give them a new style. To make sure the covers fit properly and look okay, try wrapping foam batting around the arms to pad them out and make them more comfortable before you fit the slipcovers.

What type of fabric is best for a slipcover?

Ideally, when it comes to slipcovers, you want a fabric that looks good and is nice to touch, as well as being easy maintenance. With the exception of our faux leather which you can easily sprits clean, our slipcovers are machine washable and caring for them should be stress free. Are the colors shown online true to form?

We do our best to render images complete with texture and pattern as true to form as possible. As various monitors render colors differently, we recommend that you order swatches to ascertain whether the color you see online will best suit your décor.

What shipping and processing options are available?

Swatches are shipped US Postal Services.

All slipcover orders are shipped via UPS shipping. We offer the following shipping options:

  • Standard Ground Shipping
  • Third Day Air
  • Second Day Air
  • Next Day Air

Notes:
Express packages are not delivered on weekends and holidays. If you need to receive your package on weekend, it may be arranged for an extra charge. For more info contact customer service at 1-888-PULL-IT-ON (785-5486).

Sales tax is only charged when an order is shipped to a state where we have a company office.

Can orders be shipped to a P.O. Box?

We are sorry, but though swatches may be shipped to a P.O. Box, UPS does not deliver to a P.O. Box shipping address.

Yes, we ship anywhere in the world via USPS International (EMS - United States Postal Service). We are not responsible for Duties and Taxes.

What is the credit card verification number?

This number printed on your card provides a safeguard when a purchase is made using your credit card.
