About UsIn 2001, Ernesto Cohan’s young sons, Alex and Max, learned how to remove the nipple from their juice bottles. They also learned that emptying its contents onto the sofa causes daddy to make funny faces. The sofa was very modern and special to Ernesto and his wife. Preserving it became a priority. So like many in their situation, they went shopping for a slipcover that would fit the sofa and their décor. To their dismay, they found very little. The cover they wound up with was hard to put on, didn't fit properly and distorted the look of the sofa and the room. One night, while working with fabrics for his clothing lines, Ernesto had an idea. He would create a cover for his sofa that would keep its original shape, fit snugly and be as stylish as the fashions he creates for the human body. And so the first Stretch & Cover expandable slipcover was created. Ernesto's young friends were so impressed by its style and fit they wanted one for themselves. He soon realized that a Stretch & Cover could not only be a "stain hider," but also a furniture fashion item that would appeal to young trendsetters. Today, Ernesto and his team, work with mills all over the world to develop special fabrics for his patented design. |
